The Aluminum Up and Down Wall Lamp from Amber Aesthetic is a sleek, modern sconce that washes the wall with light in two directions. Its compact aluminum body has a clean, shadeless profile, and the built-in LED casts crisp beams upward and downward to create a striking architectural effect. Available in black or white, it looks just as considered switched off as it does when lit.
Use a pair on either side of a bed or sofa, or line several along a hallway, stairwell or feature wall to add depth and rhythm. It is well suited to living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, studies, foyers and kitchens, and lights an area of roughly 5 to 10 square meters. The black finish adds a bold, graphic note on pale walls, while white blends quietly into light schemes for a minimalist look.
The LED light source is included, and the lamp works with AC 90 to 260 volts. It is not water resistant, so install it indoors in dry areas only. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the power switched off at the breaker. Wipe the aluminum with a soft, dry cloth when the lamp is off and cool.
